Digital access via app

Digital booking system with smart billing and app-based digital access for hassle-free handling.

State-of-the-art technical equipment

The technical equipment enables hybrid events combining on-site and online participation. Free Wi-Fi is of course available for speakers and participants.

Stunning riverside location

Need a short breather in nature? No problem with our location right by the river.

Getting here & parking

Plenty of parking is available close by at the Volksfestplatz or at the Regeninsel. Arriving by train is also a great option — Viechtach station is only 500 m from the RiverRoom.

Drinks & catering

Coffee and water are available free of charge. Our fully equipped kitchen offers flexible options for catering to your participants. On request, food/catering can be added for an extra charge.

Seating or open space

We offer the option of using 20 individual chairs with fold-away writing tablets. You can book them in the desired quantity in the booking system, including setup and takedown.

Facilitation equipment

A flip chart, a whiteboard, pin boards and a fully stocked facilitation kit are available free of charge! This complements our digital capabilities for the perfect workshop environment!

Yoga & meditation equipment

For yoga and similar events we provide mats, bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets. The RiverRoom offers space for 10 participants / yoga mats plus instructor.

FAQ

What is included in the booking rate?
The hourly booking rate includes use of the room, coffee, water, free Wi-Fi, a whiteboard and facilitation kit, plus state-of-the-art technical equipment for hybrid meetings! The tech package includes a 75-inch OLED TV with whiteboard function, an AI-powered camera, a Yamaha soundbar, a Sennheiser ceiling microphone and wireless screen sharing from your laptop to the TV via ClickShare USB-C. A complete yoga and meditation equipment set (mats, bolsters, blocks, straps) is also available. Only the individual seating with folding table needs to be booked separately at €1.00 per chair including setup and takedown (maximum 20 chairs).
Where can I park?
You can find directions and parking information here (PDF in German). Please make sure to use the signposted parking spaces and pass this information on to all participants! There is no parking directly at the RiverRoom. As the RiverRoom is located in a residential building, please also keep noise down in the stairwell.
How does access work?
Access works digitally via the Tapkey app. After receiving your booking confirmation by email, you can install the free Tapkey app from the usual app stores on your smartphone. Sign in to the app with the email address from your booking and you will be granted access to the RiverRoom — available from half an hour before your booking period for any preparations. Simply open the Tapkey app on your smartphone in front of the entrance door and the RiverRoom will appear as a “smartphone key”. Press the key until the circle lights up green and the lock on the door briefly lights up — and you can unlock the door. Locking works the same way.
What do I need to keep in mind when leaving the RiverRoom?
Close windows and doors, switch off the lights… So that nothing gets forgotten, a checklist of everything to take care of before leaving the RiverRoom is posted at the entrance door.
Are drinks available on site?
Water, coffee and tea are available free of charge. Additional drinks can be added on request for an extra charge.
Is food available on site?
Our fully equipped kitchen lets you serve food you bring along yourself. On request, food/catering can be added for an extra charge. Our catering package includes a freshly baked butter pretzel and a sweet pastry per person – perfect for a little refreshment during the break.
Is smoking allowed?
The RiverRoom and the entire premises are a smoke-free zone — please respect this.
What are the cancellation options?
Cancellation is not free of charge. A 100% cancellation fee always applies.
Is a booking valid immediately?
No, every booking is reviewed by us and only becomes binding with the booking confirmation sent by email.

Contact & directions

There is plenty of public parking near the RiverRoom, and arriving by train is also easy — Viechtach station is just a few minutes' walk away.
